27 Dresses...

Its that time of year again where 2 seasons are approaching, one being summer (yay!) and the other being wedding season (not so yay). Starting with the biggest wedding of the decade, this Friday is the Royal Wedding. This is one wedding I actually wouldn't mind going to, but it seems my invite must've gotten lost in the post - damn Royal Mail! Wedding's are a stressful enough time without worrying about what to wear.

Fed up of always being the bridesmaid and never the bride? Here are my fave 27 dresses on the high street guaranteed to help you find Prince Charming (that's right Kate - you're not the only Princess in town!)

Taking 'Bad Taste' to another level

Everyone remembers THAT interview. Kate Moss with WWD magazine where, when asked if she had any mottos, she replied 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels'
(if you don't remember or want to see it yourself here is the original interview http://www.wwd.com/beauty-industry-news/kate-moss-the-waif-that-roared-2367932)

Her nonchalant comment, endorsing anorexia, spurred controversy all over the world. In a country where there are already 1.1million KNOWN suffers of eating disorders, comments like these do not help.

Since then, the size-0 culture seems to have quietened down with many designers using curvier models and women like Kim Kardashion proving that bigger is better!

However I came across a website this morning which are literally made me sick to the stomach! US based label Teen Modelling has created a range of T-Shirts quoting the slogan 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels' and are selling them on their UK site Zazzle. What's worse is that these Tshirts are available in YOUTH sizes with the model being a young girl no older than 12 years old.

This situation really shows what is wrong with the world today. I don't know who is stupider, Kate Moss for saying it in the first place or the 'designer' of this ridiculous T-shirt! Let's just hope the youth of today is smart enough not to listen to such crap.

Go Greased Lightening!

This morning was quite possibly one of the best working mornings of my life! Mischief PR organised the World's first ever early morning musical For the New York Bakery Company in association with my favourite musical Grease!

A packed theatre was treated to yummy New York Bakery Bagels; filled with cream cheese and smoked salmon or cinnamon and raisin, whilst watching a special performance of the most popular Grease songs! The unique performance included four musical numbers - Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’ and You’re the One That I Want - plus a remix finale that had everybody cheering for more! Definitely the best way to start the day! (not sure if my team agrees as I've been singing all day!)

In true stylist manner my eyes were on the amazing costumes! I realised how much 50's fashion was back in trend and how much I loved it! High waisted skirts, crop tops and leather jackets? Yes, Yes and Yes!
Look out for my next post '50's fashion' on how to re-create the Sandy look - guaranteed to find you your Danny ;)

Boys and Girls its time to get Naughty-cal!

I don't know what it is about the sun that makes us believe that we can do absolutely anything, and that includes sailing a boat!

If like me, you live in London and the only water around you is the murky Thames, then you can at least pretend to be at one with the Sea in lots of stripes, spots and navy blue!

ASOS has a great selection of clothes and accessories to get you in the mood for some nauti-ness!

Mila Moments

Shes been linked to Mr J T himself and blamed for his split with Jessica Biel, She dated Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin for 6 years (they broke up in 2010), starred alongside Russel Brand in Forgetting Sarah Marshall AND she was more than partly responsible for THAT scene in this years blockbuster The Black Swan (if you don't know which scene I mean - watch it!)

Mila Kunis is one hot stylista; on and off the red carpet! Take a look at some of my fave Mila Moments...

This Elie Saab dress oozes Grecian Glamour
Major Sex appeal in this L'Wren Scott black leather skirt
Freakin' Fabulous in Vera Wang
Not many women can pull of lilac but Mila looks lovely in this Elie Saab Gown
I love this red Alexander McQueen maxi dress with her tousled locks!
The Black Swan in Nina Ricci
Denim cutoffs and a baggy white tshirt - this girl can pull of ANYTHING with class!
