Cream of the Crop!

One trend that is back and bigger (or maybe littler) than before is CROP tops! The marmite of clothing - you either love em or hate em!
You might be thinking that crop tops are only for those few women with washboard abs - however this is NOT the case! I'm not suggesting we should all go out with our stomachs out but there are several way to wear a crop top without flashing the flesh!

Firstly they look great layered! Use bright colours that clash to go with this seasons 'block colour' trend or layer over a black vest top for a sleek finish!

Secondly, crop tops look HOT teamed with high waists! Whether its high waisted shorts or a high waisted A-line skirt - this is a great way to hide your tum but still be cream of the Crop!

Here are some of my faves on the High Street:

27 Dresses...

Its that time of year again where 2 seasons are approaching, one being summer (yay!) and the other being wedding season (not so yay). Starting with the biggest wedding of the decade, this Friday is the Royal Wedding. This is one wedding I actually wouldn't mind going to, but it seems my invite must've gotten lost in the post - damn Royal Mail! Wedding's are a stressful enough time without worrying about what to wear.

Fed up of always being the bridesmaid and never the bride? Here are my fave 27 dresses on the high street guaranteed to help you find Prince Charming (that's right Kate - you're not the only Princess in town!)

Taking 'Bad Taste' to another level

Everyone remembers THAT interview. Kate Moss with WWD magazine where, when asked if she had any mottos, she replied 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels'
(if you don't remember or want to see it yourself here is the original interview http://www.wwd.com/beauty-industry-news/kate-moss-the-waif-that-roared-2367932)

Her nonchalant comment, endorsing anorexia, spurred controversy all over the world. In a country where there are already 1.1million KNOWN suffers of eating disorders, comments like these do not help.

Since then, the size-0 culture seems to have quietened down with many designers using curvier models and women like Kim Kardashion proving that bigger is better!

However I came across a website this morning which are literally made me sick to the stomach! US based label Teen Modelling has created a range of T-Shirts quoting the slogan 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels' and are selling them on their UK site Zazzle. What's worse is that these Tshirts are available in YOUTH sizes with the model being a young girl no older than 12 years old.

This situation really shows what is wrong with the world today. I don't know who is stupider, Kate Moss for saying it in the first place or the 'designer' of this ridiculous T-shirt! Let's just hope the youth of today is smart enough not to listen to such crap.
