So this weekend was Emmy weekend in LA. Now as someone who doesn't really watch much TV (apart from reality, but shh) I didn't really care about who won best actress or which show was the best drama series! All I wanted to know was who was wearing what! In all honestly I was disappointed at this years Emmy fashion, no one seemed to want to stand out from the crowd or be a bit different. I had to pick a few faves, although it was tough, here they are...

Its not that I love this dress it's more the fact that I love Kim K, she looks fabulous in anything she wears and here is no different!

The LBD....Little Black Dress.... has been the ultimate essential in every girl's wardrobe since the 1920's! Before the 1920's black dresses were worn only at times of mourning...it all changed in 1926 when Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel published a short black dress in American Vogue. This picture changed fashion forever!

FASHIONS NIGHT OUT IS ON ITS WAY!

After the success of last year, one of the biggest fashion events of the calendar year is back....oh yes its FASHIONS NIGHT OUT! On Wednesday 8th September models, designers and fellow fashionistas will strut out on the streets of London to celebrate fashion!

Hosted by Vogue the event is guaranteed to be one of the biggest parties in 2010! Here's whats happening in London town....

Urban Outfitters - the Oxford Street store hosts a live performance by the Artic Monkey's!

The Genius himself Monolo Blahnik will be signing shoes at his Old Church Street store.

Recently named the Best department store in the world Selfridges is launching a Mulberry pop up store and Lily Allen will be there launching her sisters vintage store 'Lucy in Disguise' with a pop up boutique and party.

That's as much as I know for now but I can't wait! As soon as I get more info I shall let you all know!

HARRY POTTER IS BACK!

OMG! I just came across these pics from the new Harry Potter film and had to share! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part one is out this November and I cannot wait!

Whether you're actually Hogwarts crazy or you have to watch the films with your 5 yr old bratty nephew the first part of the final film is guaranteed to be one of 2010's top movies!

I am a Material Girl...

Like mother, like daughter has never been truer. Madonna’s new clothing range with her Über stylish daughter Lourdes has finally been launched! This girl is probably the most fashionable 13 yr old ever! The range which is based on 80’s rock includes leather studded jackets, checked shirts, leggings and ra-ra skirts….what’s not to love?!

Only 2 downfalls to this fabulous new line…


1 – its only available at Macy’s (anyone going to the US anytime soon let me know and ill give you my list!)

2 – the face of the campaign is Gossip Girls Tayler Momsen…I cant quite put my finger on it but there’s something I really don’t like about this bleached blonde badgirl!

V festival fashion

So I'm not really a festival kinda girl; the whole camping, bugs and portaloos thing doesn't really float my boat! One thing's for sure though- it's not about getting out your trampiest clothes and dressing appropriately for the cold anymore, no no, festival fashion is on the up! Even the forecast of torrential rain shouldn't keep away the bare legs and fake tan!

CATWALK TO CLOSET - Aviator jackets

As much as I love the start of a season; looking through all the designer shows, finding out what's still on trend and what really isn't, it's actually a really stressful time!

So you fall in love with a Balmain gold and black dress or Burberry Prorsum aviator jacket... what can you actually do, apart from remortgage your parents house?! (DO NOT DO THIS!)

Whilst I would chop off my left arm for this season's Lanvin Fur Coat I don't think even that would be enough!

Well just because you can't afford designer there is no reason why you can't look fabulous (you will notice I use this word way to much!) . Thank the Lord for the British high street! From Topshop to Urban Outfitters and Bershka to Uniqlo the high street is guaranteed to keep you looking à la mode!
